We are OLProud of the OLP Swim Team who took first place at the Diocesan Swim Meet on Sunday, February 28, 2016!  Congratulations to Coach Elaine Rohrbach, Coach Robert Welton, and all of the swimmers!

Girls' Varsity Basketball Champs!
Congratulations also goes out to the OLP Girls' Varsity Basketball team who won the Erie Diocesan Championship on Sunday, February 28, 2016!  They are now headed to the State Championship Tournament March 11-13, 2016, in Pittsburgh.

First Communion Practice
Practice for First Communion has been changed to 9:00 AM for both April 23, 2016, and April 30, 2016, practices.  Please meet in the church by 9:00 AM the day before your scheduled First Communion day.
 

First Reconciliation Retreat 
 
Saturday, March 5, 2016
9:30 AM to 1:30 PM
OLP Church and Cafeteria
 
9:30 AM---Gather in Church for prayer
 
10:00 AM---Go to cafeteria for retreat
 
11:30 AM---Lunch-bring your own bag lunch/beverage
 
12:15 PM---Penance service and First Reconciliation in
church.
 
Parents are invited (at least one adult is required) to participate in the retreat. Families (siblings, grandparents, Godparents, aunts & uncles, etc.) are invited to the lunch and/or Penance service.
 

FSA TGI Friday's School Fundraiser 
 
Please join us on Thursday, March 10, 2016, beginning at 11:00a.m. at TGI Friday's located at 6755 Peach St. Bring the flyer that comes with your student in their Tuesday folder (or click here) to the restaurant anytime that day, and 15% of your bill will get donated back to Our Lady of Peace! What a wonderful reason not to cook dinner!

BoxTopsCongratulations Crusaders!
We just mailed in $831.80 worth of Box Tops! This brings our yearly total to $2,688.10 which means we have exceeded our goal of $2,500 and earns a dress down day this school year! Date of dress down day to be determined! Way To Go OLP!
 
 
Library Visitor
  Let's get Jan Brett to come to the OLP Library!
The school or library that has the most parents, teachers, friends, or supporters who enter the contest will win a free school or library visit from Jan Brett in the 2016-2017 school year.  Contest ends April 4, 2016.  Second to tenth place prizes ae ten Jan Brett books.  Eleventh to 100th place prizes will be a signed Jan Brett poster.  One entry per person, so spread the word!  Share the link with everyone you know!

   Little Blu Cru
The Little Blu Cru cheer camp was held Saturday, February 27, 2016.  The event was hosted by the OLP JV cheer squad. The girls had a fun filled day learning motions, jumps, chants and a dance.
