OLP Bowling League
Bowling
Bowling will begin Monday, February 1, 2016. Students in grades 1 through 8 are eligible to bowl. Bowling starts right after school at Rolling Meadows Lanes at 32nd and Zuck.

The first night will be sign ups and one game will be bowled just for fun. The cost of bowling this year will be $50. In an effort to keep bowling affordable and to have a really nice end of season party, it has been decided to eliminate trophies at the end of the season.

It would be helpful if bowlers have an idea of who their team will be prior to the first night of bowling. If a student doesn't have a team in mind, we will be happy to put them on a team that has room and is close to the appropriate grade.

The schedule will be as follows. Please assume that if school is cancelled due to weather, bowling will be cancelled as well.

If you have any questions, please contact Liz Beres at

P.L.A.Y. Soccer
P.L.A.Y (Participate & Learn at the YMCA) is a series of athletic programs run through downtown YMCA for boys and girls grades 1-4.  Teams are registered as school-parish based teams.  Currently OLP has 81 children (9 teams) participating in the PLAY Basketball league.  This Spring the YMCA will offer a PLAY Soccer league structured very much like PLAY Basketball in the sense that the league will be focused on developing soccer fundamentals while allowing the kids to experience healthy competition in a safe and fun environment.  The league will consist of 3 divisions a Co-Ed Grade 1/2; Girls 3/4 and Boys 3/4 and will be run on Saturday mornings Saturday March 19th through Saturday May 21st at Erie Turfzone.

BUT WE NEED an OLP parent volunteer to act as the OLP PLAY Soccer coordinator.  Questions on what a coordinator does?  You can contact OLP PLAY Basketball coordinator Stephanie Spence (814.572.3972) on the required duties of a PLAY coordinator position.
