Head Lice ~ Let's STOP it before
 it starts!
Please be aware this is the time of year when a growing number of cases of head lice are detected.  Please take a moment to review the Millcreek Township School District Policy on head lice and the other resources by clicking on the link below.  If you find evidence of lice on your child, please notify the school IMMEDIATELY.  Our School Nurse is available to answer any questions you may have. You can email her at lcrankshaw@olpcrusaders.org.

FSA Coupon Book Sale

Hello families. I would like to extend my gratitude in all the efforts made towards a fantastic job in selling coupon books.  Great job.

I would like to share that all monies need to be turned in before the order is placed. So please, if you turned in an order without money, please send that in, in an envelope, so your child gets credit.

In addition, we have about 100 families that have not returned their child's book or monies for orders taken. You will receive written notification in your child's Tuesday folder.

All orders are pending upon the return of all students books.

Thank you again for your cooperation and dedication.  Please call me at 835-5046 or 450-7239 with any questions. Have a great week.             God bless & Peacefully, Tina Vergotz

Box Tops
Welcome back!  The FSA is pleased to announce we were able to receive over $2,300 last year from the Box Tops for Education Program.  Way To Go Crusaders!

The FSA is asking for your support again this school year and there is a new incentive!  If we reach $2,500 in Box Tops by the end of the school year all students will receive a dress down day!  Tell your family and friends to clip those Box Tops and send them in to your child's homeroom teacher.

With your help, we can make OLP's Box Tops for Education
program a huge success again this year.

Thank you for your help!

Summer Reading
Have you been doing the OLP Summer Reading Challenge?  There is still time!  Each student who reads 15 or more books will earn a Dress Down Day.  If the whole school reads 1500 or more books everyone will earn a frozen treat!

Scouts
The Cub Scouts of Pack 59 are looking for some fun boys (Grades 1-5) to join them!!!
Cubs do awesome things like field trips, hikes, attend local sporting events (they even get to stay in the arena or field and camp out overnight), learn about good citizenship, march in parades, have holiday parties, and in the spring they hold a "small" event that you may have heard of -The Pinewood Derby!
Boys from any school may join us!  We have Cub Scouts from OLP, Blessed Sacrament, St. George's, Grover Cleveland, Harding and Montessori.  Have your son join with a friend!

Our first Pack Meeting of the year is Wed. Sept. 16th at 6:30 PM in the OLP School Cafeteria.
