Cross County
As the school year comes to an end, it's time to start thinking about the 2015 Cross Country Season. A fun, competitive and challenging season awaits us this year as we look to build on last year's success. Although the actual season is rather short, the preparations leading up to it are quite beneficial and an integral part of the program. As in years past, we will be offering a summer conditioning program that will help build a great foundation for the athletes. This program will be available to students in grades
five through eight.

The training program that we plan to use will be designed to take a child who hasn't been running and gradually prepare them to race competitively. At the same time, it will develop an athlete who is already in relatively good running shape and increase their endurance and stamina.

The summer training will begin on Tuesday, July 7th. We will primarily be running either at Asbury Woods, Browns Farm or the Peninsula. Specifics will come at a later date via email.

At this time, if your son/daughter is interested in participating in the summer program please send an email to Stacey Constable (smconstable2@gmail.com) with the following information.

Name of Athlete

Grade

Parent's Email Address

Cell Phone

We look forward to seeing you in July....

Sincerely,

Stacey Constable & Pamela McCormick

***Information for the Fun Runners (grades 1st-4th) will be sent at a later date. We are looking for volunteers to help with this portion of the program. If you are interested in helping, please send Stacey an email as well. Thank you

Because you get out of it what you put into it"
