Wrestling

This past weekend Ian Irvin wrestled in the North Section of Area 8 championship at Fort Leboeuf. He took 3rd place so that qualified him for the Area 8 championships next weekend at Maplewood H.S.

We also want to congratulate Evan Selker on another great season. He competed in the Jr High division where he took first place at the North Section and Area tournaments which qualified him for the State Championships in Hershey. There he won several matches and performed very well. Great job, Evan and best of luck to Ian!

P.L.A.Y. Soccer

P.L.A.Y (Participate & Learn at the YMCA) is a series of athletic programs run through downtown YMCA for boys and girls Grades 1-4. Teams are registered as school-parish based teams. Most recently OLP had 57 children (7 teams) participate in the PLAY Basketball league. Due to its wild success, the YMCA wishes to expand this to a PLAY Soccer league planned to start mid-late March and end just prior to Memorial Day. We need an OLP parent volunteer to act as the OLP PLAY Soccer coordinator. If interested, please contact the downtown YMCA at:

OLP Ski Club

It was another terrific season!

OLP Ski Club finished up their regular season last week with their last Friday night bus trip to Peek'n Peak. Though the temps were colder than usual, the participation was up and continues to grow each year with a lot of new skiers and snowboarders joining us this year. Ski club membership is open to all OLP Parishioners and their Families and passes are good

from opening day in November until they shut the lifts down in April. Look for signup information for next year in the Fall of 2015.
