Caring Crusaders

The Safe and Caring Schools theme for February is "Teamwork."

Teamwork and cooperation is the ability to work with others to achieve a common goal. Children need to learn that being a team player is a valuable, lifelong skill. We need to model accountability, teamwork, responsibility and effective communication so that our children learn that these are important aspects of getting along.

Wrestling
This past week our wrestlers have competed several times and have done a great job. Last Thursday OLP hosted a dual meet between our Diocesan wrestlers and Northwestern.  Kory Webber, Izak Slupski, and Ian Irvin competed in the dual meet and they all won their matches!

Also, this past Sunday, Jacob Esser, Izak Slupski, and Ian Irvin competed in the Great Lakes Elementary Wrestling League Championships held at the dome at Edinboro University.  They all wrestled hard and Ian did a great job finishing in 2nd place!  Great job to all our OLP wrestlers!

Please feel free to look up the Diocese of Erie Wrestling Alliance on Facebook to see many more pictures of our wrestlers.
