TURN YOUR TAX DOLLARS INTO TUITION

Do you own a company that pays Malt Beverage Tax? Your company may be eligible to participate in the Education Improvement Tax Credit Program.

HB91 has amended the list of taxes which are eligible for inclusion to the EITC program to include the Malt Beverage Tax. This year, we were so lucky to have over $147,000 in tuition assistance to offer financial aide to OLP families. Next year, we WILL be increasing that amount, and we hope that you will participate in this tax program to make this happen.

Please call Ashley Caldwell at 838-3548 or email at acaldwell@olpcrusaders.org to schedule an appointment to learn how your company can give the gift of education!

Jump and Hoops for Heart
AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION JUMP ROPE AND HOOPS EVENT
The annual OLP AHA Jumprope/Hoops event will be conducted during physical education classes the week of Valentines Day.

This voluntary event allows students to collect money for the American Heart Association while sponsoring them for a hoops/jump event during their physical education class. Students earn thank you gifts and collect "ducks" as they progress up sponsorship levels. Collection folders should be in the Tuesday Folder. Students may go to the following websites www.heart.org/jump or www.heart.org/hoops and register to request sponsors online. There are also "duck" incentives for online registration and donations earned online.
As many people do donate to the American Heart Association already, they may do so during this OLP School event and help sponsor our students as well.
Attached is a Parent Letter with more information, and you may contact me if you have any further questions.
