OLP Athletic Board Open Meeting will be held tonight, Tuesday, September 2, 2014, at 7:00 PM in the OLP Cafeteria.

Cross Country

Congrats to the OLP Cross Country varsity girls for their gutsy performance at the McDowell Cross Country Invitational.  The girls team placed 6th overall out of 22 perennial District 10 HIGH SCHOOL powerhouse teams. Team members are Lauren Hanke, Melissa Carlson, Kelly Mischler, Sanibel Stravinsky, Becca Wallen, Gina DeMarco, Kaitlyn Steiner, Molly Welton, Courtney Patsy, Olivia Sanders, Leah Prischak. Varsity boys Alex Kolodychak and Matthew Whitman recorded personal bests on the extremely difficult Brown's Farm course.

OLP Tennis

The OLP tennis program in the process of getting underway.  The Diocese Tennis tournament will be held October 3 & 4, 2014, and is open to students in grades 5-8.  Bob Buckel is the coach and is planning an brief parents' meeting and first practice on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 2014, at the McDowell High School Tennis Courts beginning at 6:00p.m.  Please contact Bob Buckel at robert_buckel@msn.com if you are interested or have any questions.      

JV / Varsity Football

With the start of football season, nothing goes better with football than PIZZA.   Both the JV and Varsity football teams are selling Yum Yum's pizza coupons for $8.00 - each coupon is good for a 12 inch cheese and one item pizza.  See any football player or contact Natalie Wiesen at 392-1745 or Cheryl DiPietro at 323-0806.

The Knights of Columbus Council of Our Lady of Peace will hold their first monthly "Pancake Breakfast" of the fall season on

Menu includes: Pancakes, French Toast, Scrambled Eggs, Hash Browns, Sausage, Juice, Coffee or Tea.

Adults: $6.75, children: $3.00, under 5: free.

Please make plans for your family to join us for the "Best Breakfast Deal" in town, and help to support your parish KOC organization. Proceeds from these breakfasts are used to support worthwhile parish, OLP school, diocesan, and community projects. One of our long range parish goals is to construct a pavilion for the school playground.
