The Important News From OLP

Caring Crusaders

The Safe and Caring Schools theme for November is "My Support System."

It is essential that we as educators and parents recognize the stress in children's lives. Today, students worry about family issues, friends, academic performance, peer pressure and much more. Adults can model healthy ways of dealing with stress and create a support system where children can ask for help appropriately.

Students will

  • discuss the qualities of friendship and how good friends can be an important part of their support system
  • learn the importance of having a support system
  • understand that peer pressure can have a big impact on their lives

FSA
I am happy to announce that we have finalized our sale of the SaveAround coupon books.  We have sold $14,880.00 in books...YEAH...This gives our FSA/School a profit of $7,440.00.  This is down a bit from last year.  However, this is fabulous and I would like to thank everyone who helped to make this a wonderful success.  May God bless us all and our endeavors as we continue to grow as a school/parish community.

Peacefully, Tina Marie Vergotz
