OLP - Safe and Caring School
Our Lady of Peace is implementing a new school program called "Safe and Caring Schools." It teaches life skills focusing on getting along with others, communication skills, making better choices, and accepting responsibility for one's own actions.
A new theme will be presented each month for the entire school with age appropriate activities.
The theme for September is "My School Community." Students will
-learn about and participate in setting up a safe and caring classroom community -understand they are unique and learn to recognize, empathize with, and respect the individuality and diversity of others -experience the importance of inclusion, belonging, and celebrating their families
PRAISE program will now be called "Caring Crusaders."
