OLP - Safe and Caring School
Our Lady of Peace is implementing a new school program called "Safe and Caring Schools."  It teaches life skills focusing on getting along with others, communication skills, making better choices, and accepting responsibility for one's own actions.

A new theme will be presented each month for the entire school with age appropriate activities.

The theme for September is "My School Community."
Students will
-learn about and participate in setting up a safe and caring classroom community
-understand they are unique and learn to recognize, empathize with, and respect the individuality and diversity of others
-experience the importance of inclusion, belonging, and celebrating their families

PRAISE program will now be called "Caring Crusaders."
PIE Night
The Our Lady of Peace annual PIE Night, Parent Informational Evening, will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, September 4, 2013.  Registration at 6:30p.m. and meeting at 7:00p.m.  beginning in the OLP Church followed by classroom visits in the school.

The eighth grade parents will meet at 6:15p.m. in the OLP Cafeteria beforehand.

Sports' Day

Sports day is fast approaching, and volunteers are needed. This annual day of fun and activities is Friday, September 20, 2013.

Students rotate through several stations of group activities facilitated by parent volunteers and their teachers.  A Fall Pep rally ends the day!!

Students dress down and may bring water bottles that day.

If you can help, please return the slip at the bottom of the form provided in the link.
