Vacations and Homework
Parents - Reminder: Please review the OLP policy for vacations and homework as stated on page 6 of the OLP Handbook.
The handbook reads: Family Vacations and Homework Please do not request work or assignments for your child(ren) to do before or during a planned vacation that is not scheduled in the regular school year. It is difficult for teachers to look ahead a week or two and know for sure what will be taking place in the class. A student may have a difficult time completing work before a concept(s) is presented. Your child's teacher(s) will meet with and give any missing work to students upon their return. The teacher(s) will determine a reasonable amount of time for the work to be completed and turned in based on the amount of time the child was out of school and the amount of work to be made up.
