Valentine's Day
 The students of Our Lady of Peace School will celebrate Valentine's Day with a Red, White, and Pink dress down day on Thursday, February 14, 2013. The students in Kindergarten through Grade 3 will also pass out their treats and cards on that day.
The students in grades 4 through 8 have opted to share their treats on Today, February 12, 2013 due to the season of Lent starting on Wednesday.

A Sense-sational Evening
 Let us send your tickets to you!
We realize you are busy and may not have time to stop in the office to buy your A Sense-sational Evening tickets. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to come out and enjoy a wonderful evening at The Brewerie at Union Station. Connect with old friends, meet new people and enjoy a great time while supporting OLP.
If you would like to purchase tickets for A Sense-sational Evening, to be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013, from 7:30 - 11:00 p.m., simply send a check or cash in an envelope marked A Sense-sational Evening tickets with your child to school. If they send the envelope to the office, the tickets will then be sent back to you via your child. It is that easy! All proceeds from this event will benefit our school

Daisy Scouts
 It's Girl Scout Cookie Pick-Up Time!!! The date is Saturday, February 16, 2013 and the time and locations are as follows:
Kindergarten: OLP Cafeteria between Noon and 2:00pm 1st Grade: Scout House between Noon and 2:00pm All scouts who sold cookies MUST pick up your order during this time, unless prior arrangements have been made. KINDERGARTEN DAISY SCOUTS 750 boxes of cookies sold from our Kindergarten girls! Proceeds will help the girls on their first camping trip this summer. Our next meeting will be February 14, 2013 after school until 5:00p.m. at the Scout House. Please remember to write a note to daughter's teacher saying that she will be a car rider and walking over with Mrs. Poff. Also, please check your email for updates on the troop from jenny@presqueisledesigns.com. |

Girls Night Out
Please note there is a schedule change for the February Girls Night Out. FEBRUARY MEETING WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY FEBRUARY 21 FROM 6-7:30 PM. We are excited to welcome Krista Lamb who has performed in many Mainstage shows at the Erie Playhouse. She will share with us some stories and activities from the world of the theater!
All girls in grades 4-8 are invited to attend. We will not be collecting dues for the meeting. PLEASE BRING A NEW OR GENTLY USED WARM CLOTHING ITEM (gloves, hat, sweatshirt, sweater, long-sleeved shirt, pants, ......) FOR A CHILD TO BE DONATED TO MERCY CENTER FOR WOMEN.

OLP 7th & 8th Youth Group
Tubing this Thursday at Mount Pleasant in Edinboro from 5:00pm-8:00pm. Please bring 1 hygiene product that will be given to the men at St. Martin's Center. A bin will be available at tubing to place your item in.
About half of our youth group participants are in need of 1 service project. BINGO is being offered each month and is a fun way to meet this fulfillment. We are also going to be going to assist in a local food bank in March - details to follow shortly.

OLP Athletic Board Open Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, April 2nd has been changed to Tuesday, April 9th at 7:00 pm in the OLP cafetaria.

Erie Youth Tackle Football League
 Cathedral Prep Varsity Football Coach, Mike Mischler is in his 16th session of EYTFL. Erie Youth Tackle Football League provides a safe, fun and family oriented environment for players (boys age 6-12) to learn the fundamentals and skills of the game of football.
