7th & 8th Youth Group
OLP MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH GROUP UPDATE:
1. Service Project Opportunities: BINGO at Presbyterian Lodge in Erie on January 16th and January 30th. Please sign up with Mrs. Ehrman if interested.
2. Flyers will be e-mailed out on January 22nd for our February Tubing outing at Mount Pleasant (please pray for snow!). Cost is $10.00 per tuber.
3. As a reminder, every Youth Group participant must complete 1 service project and attend 2 spiritual events in order to go on the end of year Cedar Point trip. We are in the planning stages of a February/March spiritual event, as well as an event in April. You may also attend a Holy Hour with Deacon John. These Holy Hours are offered as follows, all beginning at 6:45 in the church: January 8, February 12, March 12, April 9 and May 14. Please check in with Mrs. Mang if you decide to attend one of these services in order to receive credit.
4. We are looking for a parent to chair the April Youth Rally, along with Fr. Jason and Debbie Maciak. Please contact Kathy Roach if interested.
5. Also, we need an FYI count as to how many of you will be attending the Cedar Point trip on Monday, June 10th. We are trying to get a sense for how many buses and chaperones we need. Please e-mail Kathy Roach with your intention before Friday, January 11th at kathyroach66@gmail.com. |
