Catholic Schools Week is Coming! 
Volunteers Needed!!
We are still in need of student/family volunteers for all of the Catholic Schools' Week Masses, January 26th and January 27th. We still need a few readers, door greeters, and banner carriers.
If your family or child would like to volunteer please email Mrs. Zacherl at czacherl@olpcrusaders.org
ASAP and let me know what Mass/Masses you would be available for.
Don't forget to turn in your reservation for Family Lunch on Thursday, January 31, 2012. Reservations are due by January 23, 2012. Family Lunch RSVP

In today's Tuesday Folder you will find a double-purpose invitation. The invitation is for A Sense-sational Evening and for Catholic Schools Week Open House. We hope you will considered attending both. Also, please spread the word regarding Open House. Share this information with family, friends and neighbors. 2013-2014 School Year Registration
Registration and financial assistance information for the 2013-2014 school year are being sent home today, Tuesday, January 8, 2013, with the youngest child. Please make sure to check the Tuesday Folder. Registration forms along with the $50 registration fee per family is due in the school office by Wednesday, January 23, 2013.

A Sense-sational Evening
 A Sense-sational Evening committee members are busy preparing for the March 2, 2013 event. We are in process of securing sponsors for the event. If you or someone you know has a business that may be interested in sponsoring, please click on the following link for more information. Also - NEW THIS YEAR - Anyone can be a patron. For $200 you can have your name listed in the program, receive two tickets to the event and patronage will be displayed on a screen throughout the evening. Remember to mark your calendars for Saturday, March 2, 2013, for this great event. Tickets will go on sale on Saturday, January 26th for the discounted price of $35 each. They will remain at $35 throughout Catholic Schools Week. After that time they will be sold for $40 each. |
National School Choice Week
Save the Date: for a Special Event on Thursday, January 31, 2013! Come and Celebate National School Choice Week at the Erie Art Museum (411 State Street) at 4:30p.m. to shine a spotlight on effective education options for every child.
This is a nationwide effort to support the concept of school choice.

Girls Night Out
The next meeting for Girls Night Out is scheduled for Thursday January 10 from 6-7:30 in the Cafeteria. All girls in grades 4-8 are invited to attend. This month's meeting will be a Game Night with card games and snacks. PLEASE NOTE--bring a non-perishable food item INSTEAD of the $3 dues for this meeting for a donation to the food pantry. Snowflake Project
 The students in grades 5-8 participated in the "Snowflake Project" before they left for Christmas vacation. They all made snowflakes to decorate the new school the students of Sandy Hook Elementary will be going to in January. The class of 2013 are pictured above showing off their snowflakes.
