Advent Prayer Service & Nativity Play
Friday, December 21, 2012 ~ 9:15a.m.
Please join us for our annual Advent Prayer Service on Friday, December 21, 2012 at 9:15a.m. in the OLP Church.
A representive from each grade will present their gift to their chosen charity as part of the Advent Service Project.  This 25 year tradition at OLP, shows the true meaning of Christmas through the generosity of our students, faculty, staff and parish.

After the prayer service, the First Grade Class will share their performance of The Nativity.  The First Grade students and teachers have worked very hard and this is sure to be a performance to be remembered.

Everyone is Welcome!
God Bless You and Merry Christmas!!!

OLP Church News

The OLP Environment Committee invites you to participate in the creation of the OLP Family Christmas Tree.   We will be decorating the large tree in the church vestibule for the Christmas season with home-made doves, stars, and Christmas balls. To help make our tree beautiful and meaningful, we need you to make your own special ornament!

A simple instruction sheet and ornament patterns are available on the church website, www.olp.org. Just click on the Christmas tree icon on the home page for all the details.   There will also be a limited number of instruction sheets and patterns available in the church vestibule. There are also sample ornaments on the display in the vestibule for inspiration.

Drop off your finished ornament in the basket provided in the church vestibule by Friday, December 21st.

The OLP Family Christmas tree is not just for kids. Everyone is invited to contribute an ornament to help create a beautiful and meaningful Family Christmas tree! If you have any questions about this project, please contact Brian Kuzmin, Director of Liturgy and Music, through the church office.
