For the second year in a row, the William H. Hannon Library was included on Princeton Review's national list of the Top 20 College Libraries.
While our building's beautiful design and perch on the bluff play no small part in this ranking, we hope that our outstanding programs, services, and collections equally enhance the LMU experience.
This newsletter serves as a small preview of what we've been working on all summer, and what we have in store for you in the upcoming months. We hope you enjoy it, and look forward to having everyone back on campus!

Outreach Librarian and Editor, Happenings @ Hannon

One Desk, One Stop, More Services.
|
In an effort to increase efficiency behind the scenes and provide even better customer service for you, we are delighted to announce that, over the summer, we combined our Circulation and Media & Reserve Services into a single service point.
Now you can do all of the following at the Circulation Desk on level 1:
- Check out and return books
- Pick up LINK+ books, Interlibrary Loan Requests, and books requested from the basement
- Check out and place materials on Reserve
- Check out DVDs, CDs, and newspapers
And we're in the process of transforming our service desk on level 2 into a place where you can check out equipment. Equipment immediately available for check-out includes:
- Laptops
- Headphones
- Computer cables & connectors
- More coming soon!
