The Foundation(s) of Integrated Systems
I have re-thought the designing of integrated systems. For most of my career I have designed by room, area, or system. I now think of system design starting with a solid foundation and the other areas sitting on that foundation.
Design up, not down.
There are many areas of the foundation that we can influence--Electrical, HVAC, Security, Entertainment, Whole-Home Integration, and Ethernet Networks.
- For any new construction project requiring electrical, there are products at our disposal. Products include those that will protect and filter all outlets. Then, there are those that are local re-generators from PS Audio. Then, again, there are local conditioning/protection products that are Internet enabled and can be monitored.
- The design, implementation, and monitoring of Enterprise-Grade Ethernet Network is critical in order to exceed our customer's expectation.
