I wanted to say thank you for having me. It was a good time. I was very worried when you said "to sit and visit" with someone. I thought I would be taking out trash or washing dishes; however, it turned out pretty good. I met an older gentleman named Bob. What struck me the most was just how lonely he was. Please let me know next time you have an event so I can see if I can volunteer my time.

Last year I mainly worked in the thrift store, and my husband helped in the parking lot, and w/ set up in the dining area. We are willing to do whatever you need us to do the most. I am writing to thank you for this past Thanksgiving meal! I was a part of the companion team that helped minister to the needy that evening. I am a 23 year old single girl and felt led to serve this Thanksgiving (something I've wanted to do for quit sometime). Such a rewarding experience!
