LOOKING FOR A HAIRSTYLE?

The girls of Our Little Roses are experts in doing hairstyles. Blanca from St. Phillips group said: "Every year that I come to Honduras I prepare myself  for a good lifting and for my hair to grow one inch" For OLRM's Girls, a good hairstyle makes a difference.  Each morning the OLRM's girls are graciously combed in pigtails that collect their hair, so they do the same with people who visit them. OLRM invites you for a free lift and a hairstyle!

BALLET DANCERS

With elegance, strength and grace the girls attending dancing classes at Centro Cultural Infantil (CCI) made it's magnificent presentation last June where they were applauded for their talented and synchronized  presentation. Congratulations girls!

PRIVATE CONCERT

The Cultural Affairs Officer, Adaeze Igwe from the United States Embassy entertained the girls with a Michigan Music Group that was invited to perform at the Independence Day Celebration at the American Embassy.

The group visited OLRM and not only sang and played for the girls but also gave them some short lessons of how to use the musical instruments. The girls made lines and with enthusiasm were ready to play the guitar, the drums to make their own music! Thank you Adaeze!

MY HOUSE COLLAPSED

SAID PATRICIA

Her delicious house built with cookies, m & m's, marshmallows and all kind of candies collapsed when she was decorating its roof. This activity was made with St. Thomas' group and the girls love to make this kind of art especially because they are candy's eaters, so they eat candies during the building process and at the end of it.   Good for you girls!

With Love,

Sponsor A Child

There are many ways to support Our Little Roses, but one of the most valuable is to sponsor a girl. This gives the home an assurance of a steady source of support for a girl for several years -- hopefully until she becomes an adult. Sponsorships are $720 per year, which may seem like a lot, but paid quarterly ($180) or monthly ($60) is quite manageable.

If you sponsor a girl, you will receive a certificate and a photo, and you are welcome to correspond with the girl you sponsor.

Or you may wish to sponsor the educational tuition for one of our girls attending Holy Family Bilingual School, a special needs private school or university. Education is vital to transforming their lives.
