Kavli Video Contest It's that time of year again!The Kavli Video Science Contest, sponsored by the Kavli Foundation, has announced "Science in Fiction" as the theme for 3rd contest! The contest will be open to middle and high school students and the winners will be announced at a special ceremony at the Festival Expo. Learn more by clicking here. 

In other Festival News: This past month, the USA Science & Engineering Festival received the 
2013 Hoyt S. Vandenberg Award from the Air Force Association (AFA) in recognition of the Festival's MLK School Celebration contributions to aerospace education and for its efforts in encouraging youths to pursue the fields of science and engineering!  And last week,  a group of political, business, education, science and technology leaders including Festival Co-Founders Larry Bock & Ray O Johnson and special guest character actors Ben Franklin, Thomas Edison and Albert Einstein, visited Martin Luther King Elementary School in Washington, D.C. for a celebration of STEM!
