The smell of freshly cut grass and sharpened pencils can only mean one thing - school is back in session! The Festival team is busy getting ready for the new school year with exciting contests and programs as well as preparing for the largest celebration of STEM this coming April! Please help us continue to promote STEM education by signing the petition to recognize the last week in April as National Science Week! Sign the petition here and spread the word! 

AFA AwardIn other news, we are honored to announce that the USA Science & Engineering Festival has been selected to receive the 2013 Hoyt S. Vandenberg Award of the Air Force Association (AFA) in recognition of the Festival's contributions to aerospace education and for its efforts in encouraging youths to pursue the fields of science and engineering!

Over 250 schools have registered as an X-STEM School and we look forward to doubling that number during the upcoming school year! The Festival will also host an X-STEM School Student Workshop on September 7th to promote this exciting program!
