Garmin 2015 New Products

Garmin has long been known for making the most reliable and user friendly marine electronics on the market. In 2015 they have introduced a great lineup of new products now available, allowing you to take advantage of the latest in technology on the water with Garmin's signature ease of use and reliability.

First there is Garmin's new lineup of Echomap series units, perfect for flats, bay, and other single screen offshore applications, starting with the 54dv. This 5" unit packs in built-in down scanning as well as traditional sonar, pre-loaded with Garmin Bluechart G2 GPS mapping, and features easy to use physical controls. The new Echomap family also includes the 74sv and 94sv, adding built in side scanning sonar, and large easy on the eyes 7" and 9" wide format screen sizes. All Echomap series units are capable of flush mount as well as, new for 2015, a quick release bracket mount option. No more fumbling with thumb screws and unplugging multiple cords each time you want to remove your unit for safe keeping. Just release the unit from the base with one lever and you are done. The Echomap series is compatible with a wide variety of Garmin's new transom and thru hull transducers, as well as many popular Airmar transducer options.

For the more demanding user there is Garmin's new GPSMap 7600 series, with 7", 8", 10", 12", and soon 16" screen options. These units are perfect for the serious offshore angler, or inshore angler looking for the latest and most comprehensive features in its price range. We currently have a 7610xsv on demo display in our Ship Store. This unit features a 10" touch screen, built in GPS antenna, built in sonar with 1KW traditional, side, down scanning, and dual band Chirp capability, Bluechart G2 mapping, and full network abilities to be used in conjunction with multiple 7600 series screens, radar, autopilot, and more. If you don't want to rely solely on touch screen, add Garmin's GRID system to control multiple screen functions with physical controls as well. These units can be traditionally bracket mounted as well as beautifully flush mounted. The new Echomap 7600 series is compatible with a wide variety of Airmar traditional and Chirp transom, in hull, and thru hull transducers, as well as Garmin's new lineup of all-in-one transom and thru hull scanning, traditional, and Chirp transducers.

Add in Garmin's new xHD2 open array radars with built in bird spotting mode and their all new Reactor series of autopilots, and you will see why Garmin is serious about continuing to be the first choice of many loyal boaters in the years to come.

Yamaha Lightweight 115HP

Yamaha's 115 Four Stroke was one of their first and best received four stroke outboard models, so you know when it came time for Yamaha to replace it there were high expectations. The all new Yamaha 115 delivers those exceptations and more.

At 377 pounds the all new Yamaha 115 Four Stroke has lost 24 pounds from its predecessor. It now weighs just 11 pounds more than the 90HP Yamaha four stroke, giving an excellent option for repower or new boat applications to provide more power with little added weight. Not only does the 115 offer a power advantage over the 90HP, but it actually manages to have increased displacement at 1.8L over the previous 1.7L model 115. Yamaha didn't give up on reliability and advanced features to accomplish this weight loss either, as the new 115 still packs a dual overhead cam, 4 valves per cylinder, and has been upgraded with a 35 Amp alternator and knock sensor.

In addition to the above, the new higher 6300 peak RPM allows better all around performance. Operation will be smoother than ever paired with Yamaha's new Talon SDS props with Shift Dampening to minimize gear change clunking.

Caribee currently has the all new Yamaha 115 Four Stroke in stock for immediate repower today.

Come in or call 305-664-3431 and ask for Greg or Billy today to get more information about equipping your current vessel or purchasing a new vessel with this great new Yamaha Four Stroke Outboard.
