Legends of the Line offers a historical perspective on the development of sportfishing in the Upper Keys, including high-profile fishermen like the prolific Zane Grey and baseball's iconic Ted Williams. Legends also explores, not only the characters that helped develop fishing practices used today, but also the development of a brand new industry...tourism. The Discovery Center is open Thursdays through Sundays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. in the Florida Keys Conference Center at the Islander Resort here in Islamorada.

How to: Use Your Windlass
Grady White has produced this helpful video to teach or remind boaters of all experience levels the proper use of a windlass for anchoring. Whether you have a windlass on your current boat or not this short video will be well worth your time, helping you to be a more aware and educated boater.
