Halperns' Wild Game Competition

The ACF Greater Atlanta Chapter would like to thank Halperns', Maple Leaf and Durham Ranch for sponsoring the annual Wild Game Competition. The competition was held on October 20th at Le Cordon Bleu - Atlanta. The competition began early in the morning as competitors preparing their signature dishes for the judges. Thank you Maple Leaf for providing the duck and Durham Ranch for the wild boar saddle. Chef James McCallister, CEC AAC lead the team of judges along with Chef Frank Abbinanti, CEC and Chef Charles Vosburgh, CEC AAC. Congratulations Chef John Michael Lynch for your First Place finish. Second Place went to Chef Bill Hewett, CEC and Third place went to Roberto Barth. Again, thank you sponsors and judges for a successful competition.

The ACF Greater Atlanta Chapter is proud to offer student culinary scholarships
in the memory of our founding member, Chef John Piskor, CEC, AAC.
 If you know of a culinary student that is deserving of this
scholarship please pass this information on to them. All applications
must be turned in by November 30, 2012.

Please begin submitting ACF Members that you feel are deserving of the following awards. Read the Awards Criteria to ensure they are eligible for the honor. All nominees must be submitted to Awards Chairperson, Rusty Sigmon before December 31, 2012. Winners will be announced at the 2013 President's Gala.
