Awards Ceremony recognizes academic and professional excellence    

At the Awards Ceremony held December 6th Dean Spencer Niles presented the Dean's Awards for Excellence naming Professor Pamela Eddy, the six-member building maintenance team, and three members of the Clinical Partnerships Program for commitment to service and excellence.
School of Education Dean, Spencer G. Niles, has been elected President-elect of Chi Sigma Iota (CSI), an international honor society that values academic and professional excellence in counseling.
In a unique opportunity for the young Korean students and for the School of Education Center for Gifted Education, the center hosted 28 middle-school-age students selected from a number of schools in South Korea.
 
Spencer Niles co-authors career counseling casebook      
In a newly published book co-authored by School of Education Dean, Dr. Spencer G. Niles, state-of-the-art career counseling strategies are presented to help clients resolve career issues. Dr. Niles is a leading career development theorist and practitioner.

Wendy Weichel Murawski, Ph.D. (W&M B.A. '91, M.Ed. '92, Ed.S. '95) hosted Dr. Diane Ravitch as speaker for the Center for Teaching & Learning.
