Awards Ceremony recognizes students while honoring donors   

With more than 140 guests in attendance, the School of Education Awards Ceremony on December 6th provided the opportunity to celebrate student achievements and the generous philanthropy of our benefactors.  The impact of private support is deep and truly affects the experience of our students.
Brendel
Professor John Brandel, a faculty member in Clinical Counseling at the School of Education, talks about anxiety resulting from being out of a normal routine and ways to deal with fear and anxiety that comes from that disruption which can be a major factor for people during the holidays.
McDonald, Hernandez, Rodriguez
As part of an advocacy project for their Education Policy course, doctoral students Diana Hernandez and Rachel McDonald, with Professor Jacqueline Rodriguez, went to Washington DC to advocate for the ratification of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities treaty (CRPD).
