VISTA brings problem-based approach to science learning

Led by Professor Juanita Jo Matkins, the four-week VISTA institute brings teachers and students from across the area to campus hoping to instill a life-long interest in science. The program has earned an award from the Virginia Mathematics and Science Coalition.

Megan Tschannen-Moran recognized for teaching excellence  

Professor Megan Tschannen-Moran has been listed among AC Online's Top Education Professors at Affordable Colleges. Dr. Tschannen-Moran was also recently honored with the Thomas Ashley Graves, Jr., Award for sustained excellence in teaching.

Sean Heuvel '02, M.Ed. '05 and his mother, Lisa '74, M.A. '05, Ed.D. '11, not only share a love of history, they share an interest in how history has shaped two of the places they hold most dear: their hometown of Williamsburg and their alma mater, the College of William & Mary.

Founding members of The William and Mary Educational Review recently attended the Virginia Networking Conference and shared their experiences in a panel discussion focusing on the creation and implementation of a peer-reviewed journal.
