Higher Education Students present at NACADA Conference
In an opportunity to present papers and learn about different advising models and best practices from professionals across the mid-Atlantic region, three higher education students attended the National Academic Advising Association Region 2 Conference.

Tiffany Pugh, Policy Planning Specialist at the Virginia Community College System and W&M doctoral student and Pamela Eddy, Higher Education Professor presented a research paper at the 55th Annual Conference of the Council for the Study of Community College.(CSCC). At the conference the CSCC awarded the 2013 Senior Scholar Award to Professor Eddy.

Internationalization - Gifted Education in AustrailiaDDr. Katrina Eddles-Hirsch, senior lecturer of special needs at the School of Education of The University of Notre Dame in Sydney, Australia, visited the William & Mary Center for Gifted Education to discuss her findings regarding a study of gifted students in different environments.
