PIHMA's resident TCM Doctor Peng Sun is offering $25 full body acupuncture treatments at his Community Acupuncture Day. Experience tongue and pulse diagnoses and a 20 minute acupuncture treatment using less than 10 needles on mostly hands and feet. The Center for Professional Education was developed to bridge the gap between Asian and holistic medicine and western, conventional healthcare by offering a wide variety of affordable training in Asian and other holistic topics. With a special offering of continuing education for acupuncturists, nurses and other healthcare providers, many of these classes are also open to the public for their own interest and education.

PIHMA Receives Philanthropic Award
On Wednesday, July 17, 2013, PIHMA received the 2013 Baily Award for its significant contribution in the delivery of Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS programs. Under the direct supervision of Licensed Acupuncturists (PIHMA faculty), PIHMA student interns have treated patients at the Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS for the past five years providing over 3,000 treatments valued at over $100,000. PMS Research Survey
The Foundation for PIHMA Research and Education in conjunction with the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine & Acupuncture invites females of all ages to complete a Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) Research Survey. The objective of this survey is to enhance a woman's understanding about PMS to improve life quality, to provide scientific information regarding PMS for education, and to help with the research program for the Foundation for PIHMA Research & Education and the graduate students of PIHMA.
