New Patient Referral Program

This program encourages our existing patients to refer new patients to our community clinic. For every new patient an existing patient refers, the referring patient will receive one free acupuncture treatment. The new patient will be on their way to optimal health. It's a win-win situation!

The new patient must inform the front desk of who referred them.

The Center for Professional Education was developed to bridge the gap between Asian and holistic medicine and western, conventional healthcare by offering a wide variety of affordable training in Asian and other holistic topics. With a special offering of continuing education for acupuncturists, nurses and other healthcare providers, many of these classes are also open to the public for their own interest and education.
For a list of upcoming classes, visit www.pihma-cped.org.

PTSD Awareness Month

We typically think of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as a  condition our military soldiers experience after serving in a war, however, PTSD can originate from a wide range of traumatic causes. In addition to war, life changing events such as car accidents, weather disasters, abuse, or death of a loved one can all lead to PTSD. Fortunately, the use of acupuncture for PTSD has been scientifically proven to show reduced anxiety levels and stress in individuals. Auricular acupuncture, also referred to as Acu-Detox, is used to treat PTSD and involves inserting 5 needles into each ear, leaving them in for 45 minutes. During the month of June, and in recognition of PTSD Awareness Month, PIHMA is offering complimentary treatments (normally $10) to anyone diagnosed with PTSD at our Acu-Detox Clinic on Thursdays from 5:00 to 6:30pm. Walk-in only.
