A Message From Your Chamber President

Rick Novotny
Cornerstone
Community Bank, VP
This year's early thaw has gotten me exited for Brewers Baseball (Lakeshore Chinooks too!).  But let's not get carried away just yet....meteorologist Brian Gotter may have the final word on the weather and we first must experience March Madness.  Although the Badgers may not be the same team as the past couple years, they still should pose a great threat to any foe come tournament time.  Marquette has quite a bit of fire-power and should prove to be solid opponent as well.  Nevertheless, Wisconsin has a lot to cheer for/against this time of year!  This also includes the Grafton School District referendum which is quickly approaching and will take place on April 4, 2016, please make sure your voice is heard.

Don't forget to mark your Calendars for our Annual Meeting & Awards Dinner on Wednesday, May 18th 2016.  We are currently seeking nominations for Outstanding Business and/or Outstanding Business Person to be presented with an award at this event, please don't be shy- nominate someone/group today!!

Scholarship applications are now available for 2 and 4-year degree programs, the Grafton Area Chamber Commerce will award $5,000 this year.  The chamber staff and board of directors exist to support you, so if you need nomination forms, scholarship applications, or any other help please stop in or call!

We March on!
