From Your Chamber President

Rick Novotny, VP Cornerstone Community Bank

This winter seems to by flying by and only leaves us with 49 days until Spring!   The Grafton Area Chamber of Commerce had a very strong finish to the month of January, having hosted our Annual State of the Community Luncheon and a Round table event with State Senator Alberta Darling.  A very big thank you goes to Dr. Mel Lightner, Grafton Superintendent, Jim Brunquell, Grafton Village President and Lester Bartel, Grafton Town Board Chairman for all of their insightful information at the State of the Community Luncheon.  I would say that everyone who attended would agree that these three individuals are very passionate about our community and are dedicated to continuing to make Grafton such a desirable place to raise a family and call home.

We are fortunate to have 299 active members representing a diverse mix of businesses in the area, who is going to be #300?!  No matter what your business offers, please be sure to take advantage of all your chamber has to offer in the New Year.  Pam, Lisa and our entire Board of Directors are dedicated to serving you, our members.  Enjoy all 29 days this month!

Rick

In the Fall of 2015, a group of county business, government and non-profit organization leaders came together to address transportation challenges in our County. Based on that meeting, the Ozaukee County Transportation Initiative was formed.  We are looking for your help in determining the best way to proceed.
