A Message from your Executive Director

Dear Chamber Members,

It doesn't seem possible that another Chamber year is coming to a close.  I would like to congratulate  this year's Outstanding Business Person Mica Lawrence, Mica Meunier Lawrence Agency-American Family Insurance and The Grafton Fire Department, recipients of our Outstanding Public Service Award at our Annual Meeting last month.  Congratulations are also in order for our 2015-2016 Chamber Board of Directors, under the direction of President Rick Novotny, I am sure that they will continue to make our organization a strong and vital part of this community.

Community events and programs sponsored by the Chamber including Ladies Night Out, Holiday Events, our State of the Community Luncheon,  the Farmer's Market, and the Golf Outing remain successful thanks to the generous support of  our local businesses and the dedication of our Chamber Board members and their committees.

The Grafton Manufacturer's Alliance was formed by the Chamber in an effort to bridge skills gap in our community.  Local manufacturers and Grafton School District administrators and staff work together to enhance the manufacturing lab at the High School and the curriculum in the Technology Department at the High School and Middle School level.

In addition, your Chamber continues to partner to provide cooperative programs with other Ozaukee County Chambers and Ozaukee Economic Development including ONCE (Ozaukee Networking Chamber Exchange) our quarterly networking events, A Social Media Seminar and the LONG Program (leaders of Ozaukee's next generation) a yearlong leadership development program for 15 Ozaukee County professionals.

We finished this membership year with an all-time high of with 296 members. The Chamber serves as a resource and referral source for your business and we look forward to our continued partnership. Please watch for details about our website upgrades and ways that you can enhance your listing on our site.

Lisa Taubner our Program and Administration Director and enjoy working with all of you!  The Grafton Area Chamber of Commerce is a wonderful organization to work for.  We hope that you have a wonderful summer and that you will contact us if you have any questions, concerns or suggestions.
