Welcome to spring! Check out this month's newsletter as it is chalked full of information on several of our Chamber member businesses and their numerous events coming up in April. There are just too many to mention.
We are very excited about our new upcoming event our Women Empowered Conference at Concordia University on May 2nd. The conference will be educating attendees all aspects of women's health including emotional, physical, and financial. Please contact the Chamber office if you are interested in sponsoring this great event.

Don't forget, that the Chamber is currently accepting nominations for Grafton Chamber's "Outstanding Business/Business person of the Year" award. Each year we recognize an extraordinary business and or business person that make a difference in our community. Nomination information is also included below. Finally mark your calendar and plan to attend our Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner on May 13th at the Bog, where our winners will be honored.

The Cedarburg Cultural Center is happy to host  the Blueburg Café Open Mic Night TONIGHT,  Wednesday, April 1st. First Fridays features headliner "The Invaders" Friday, April 3 and don't miss the last Throwback Thursdays concert of the season featuring Reverand Raven blues on Thursday, April 16. The Ozaukee County Art Show & Gallery of Student Art plus the Main Street Gallery featuring a total of nearly 600 original works of art from Kindergarten age up to retired seniors all month long. Grafton's Art in Motion Dam Illumination Inaugural Lighting Ceremony is on Thursday April 9, 2015. The Grafton Public Arts Board (GPAB) will turn the lights on the Bridge Street Dam. An inaugural lighting ceremony will be held at 8pm on the bridge and the public is invited to see the lights turned on the dam. This is 2-year/$1.4 Million effort! The Grafton Public Arts Board focuses on one-of-a-kind artistic displays, which will be displayed throughout the community. The fourth project is "Sax in the Village". The Ozaukee County Historical Society has partnered with the 1st Allied Airborne Living History Group to announce their new WWII event, "Final Push to Victory" to be held on Armed Forces Day, May 16th and will commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the 1945 V-E Day.
