Throughout the news media world, political candidates are testing the waters of running for office, and while those media events are becoming more and more constant the closer we get to November 2016, we at the local level have to be aware of what is happening in the town and village of Grafton. Personally, I am not looking forward to the constant barrage of negative ads on television and radio, much less the robo calls that will undoubtedly be ringing on my phone. In order to assist our residents and chamber members in becoming informed voters, the chamber is sponsoring a Town Supervisor candidate forum on March 11th and a Village Board candidate forum on March 19th. Details with regards to both of these events can be found on the Grafton Chamber website. Please become an informed voter, as it affects all of the business owners in the area and the citizens of Grafton. We all want our candidates to represent our best interests, so please take this opportunity to meet the candidates before you vote.
