From Your Chamber President

Sharon McKelvey
Investment Center of Grafton
The trees are finally turning green and it looks like spring may have finally arrived here in Grafton.  I hope everyone took the opportunity to remember and say Thank You to our veterans on Memorial Day.

Thank you to everyone who made our Annual Meeting a great success.    I would like to again thank and recognize our award winners; Outstanding Business - Ram Tool, Outstanding Vocational Educator - Carl Hader, and our Outstanding Public Servant - Sgt. Doug Wilde.  Finally, a huge Thank You to our past President, Roberta Campbell and outgoing Director, Jeff Larson.  Your dedication and service to our Chamber is greatly appreciated.

We are gearing up for a busy spring and summer at the Chamber.  Celebrate Grafton will be hosting the Giro d'Grafton on June 21st and our fabulous Grillin' in Grafton/ Holidaze Celebration on June 27th & 28th.    We hope you come out to enjoy the bike race, Wisconsin's #1 BBQ Festival and our Annual Independence Day Parade and Fireworks.  Our Chamber will once again  be hosting the Farmers' Market, sponsored by Columbia St. Mary's on Thursdays beginning July 10.  The market has moved to the Grafton High School Parking Lot.  We are very excited about our new location  Look for more details in upcoming Chamber Shorts.

I hope everyone has a great spring and summer and look forward to seeing you at these local events.

Sharon
