From Your Chamber President

Roberta Campbell  Port Washington State Bank

I can't say that I can remember a winter like the one we've just had.  The worst of winter is behind us, as we anxiously look forward to spring!  I hope this newsletter finds you in a nice warm place looking out over the snow covered landscape.  Soon it will be time for all of us to thaw out and enjoy warmer temperatures.

As usual, there's lots going on in Grafton.  Please take time to review this newsletter for all that's available for you and your business or organization.  The chamber staff and board of directors exist to support you, so please call anytime to learn how we can best be of service!

Kind regards,

Roberta

The Chamber Gift Check program continues to grow.
In 2013, just over $15,000 in gift checks were issued, all of which are used to purchase goods and services at Chamber member businesses.

Just a reminder to our members.  Our gift checks are legal tender checks.  When a customer wants to redeem one, it is just like cash, and they should receive cash back from there purchase if the purchase is less that the amount of the check.  Since this is a check, you should then deposit it as you would any other check that you receive. We would appreciate it if you would help your staff understand this process.

Please contact the Chamber office with any questions.
