Andy Award Recognition!
Tamara Dahill received the ANDY Award for her dedication to American Board of Certified Haircolorist. Besides running a successful salon, A Tamara Dahill Salon, in Toluca Lake, CA, she is the Vice President of ABCH and the lead Evaluator for the certification exams.
Tamara joined ABCH in 1996 and participated in the creation of the Certification examination, the Study Portfolio, and the first Energizing Summit. She has served on the ABCH board since its beginning 16 years ago.
Thank you, Tamara, for your dedication and support of ABCH and the many haircolorists you have mentored over the years.
12th annual ABCH Energizing Summit
June 10-12, 2012 in Los Angeles
The 12th annual Energizing Summit was a huge success with over 600 colorists attending! Colorists came from all over the United States and from abroad. We had colorists fly in from Peru!
The opening cocktail party Saturday night was a big hit and stylists lingered in the beautiful warm weather, catching up with old friends and making new ones.
The Color Forum offered two panels- business and science, which allowed the audience to ask many questions and our panel of experts to weigh in with valuable insight.
Thanks to all who participated in this amazing event.

She is definitely embracing the "hands-on" classes.
Modern Salon covered the Summit
Modern Salon sent a reporter, Tina Allen, to cover the Energizing Summit and posted a short blurb about our event in their Beauty News section of the Modern Salon website. They posted 7 photos, and three videos- an interview with a Summit attendee, Andre's interview with Gordon Miller, and a portion of David Velasco's class.
