2 cinnamon sticks
¼ tsp. allspice, cloves, and nutmeg
Skin of one orange
2 cups of water

Base Ingredients
7-bone chuck roast
Oil Kosher salt black pepper spicy mustard 1 large onion 3 stalks celery 4 medium carrots 5 large cloves of garlic
Rinse the roast and pat dry. Sprinkle generously on both sides with kosher salt and pepper. Lather a few tablespoons of spicy mustard over the salt and pepper on one side. Set aside.
