Arizona Medical License Applications Review - Status Update
In accordance with the Arizona State Legislature's recommendations, the Arizona Medical Board ("Board") is in the process of reviewing all medical license applications approved between October 1, 2011 and February 5, 2014.  The purpose of this review is to ascertain whether these applications were statutorily complete and approved in accordance with state law.

To assist the Board in this process, it has contracted with the Greater Arizona Central Credentialing Program (GACCP) a business service associated with the Maricopa County Medical Society. Among other things, GACCP will be evaluating the application files of those physicians whose applications were approved during this time period. As part of this process, GACCP may be contacting you for purposes of obtaining information or documentation necessary to comply with the statutory licensing requirements.

Should you be contacted by the GACCP to provide additional information or documentation, the Board anticipates that you will provide the requested information in a timely manner. Your cooperation and assistance is greatly appreciated. Should you have any questions regarding this matter, feel free to contact GACCP at AMBproject@azcvo.com.
