The College of Health Sciences at Midwestern University, Glendale, AZ is hiring a Director for the Physician Assistant Program.
The candidate may be a DO, MD or PA. The PA must hold a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies (or equivalent) and have current NCCPA certification.
The DO or MD must have a current AZ license and certification by an ABMS or AOA approved specialty board.
The candidate must have a minimum of three years as a faculty person in health sciences education, hold rank of Associate Professor or higher, and have a strong record of teaching and scholarship. Demonstrated experience in administration and the
accreditation process is desirable.

Electronic Medical Records: We're Just Warming Up

The dark brown baby grand Steinway in the parlor of the Ritz was churning out mediocre music. There was the occasional hopeful flurry or embellishment, but for the most part, the pianist depressingly translated the songs of my youth into run-of-the-mill Muzak. The room was what you expect for the Ritz: elaborate with traditional moldings, old world furniture, patterned carpet and a crystal chandelier. I sat on a cozy gold and cream-colored couch with a floral pattern. I was stranded between a lunch meeting that ended early and a haircut across the street with my busy barber who could not move up our appointment.

Three brave, young, blind swimmers will jump into the 59-degree waters of San Francisco Bay and swim the 1.5 mile channel from Alcatraz Island to San Francisco. Tanner, Katie, and Max will be the first blind swimmers to make the swim in Alcatraz invitational's 18-year history.
All the funds raised by this historic swim support the Foundation for Blind Children's new Blind Teens to Work Program! Please join the team and support one or all of the blind swimmers.
