AHCCCS Success
MCMS supported Arizona healthcare from the beginning of Statehood. We continued that support in January by endorsing AHCCCS Restoration and Expansion. Today, that support was endorsed by a bipartisan legislature. Thank you to our Arizona healthcare coalition for having the courage to lead. Our Membership is diverse but our purpose is clear: access to quality healthcare is our goal. MCMS Members serve patients in the most-populated county in Arizona. We know the impacts of Arizona healthcare funding, first-hand. Along with other healthcare legislation this session, AHCCCS was our first and focused advocacy priority in 2013. Together with our partners, we are proud to report success to you.

The College of Health Sciences at Midwestern University, Glendale, AZ is hiring a Director for the Physician Assistant Program.
The candidate may be a DO, MD or PA. The PA must hold a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies (or equivalent) and have current NCCPA certification.
The DO or MD must have a current AZ license and certification by an ABMS or AOA approved specialty board.
The candidate must have a minimum of three years as a faculty person in health sciences education, hold rank of Associate Professor or higher, and have a strong record of teaching and scholarship. Demonstrated experience in administration and the
accreditation process is desirable.
