Board of Directors' recommend that the REALTORŪ members remove Bylaw's Article XI, Section 4(e): Election Committee
The President shall appoint an Election Committee of three (3) REALTORŪ Members plus the chief staff executive to conduct the election and to count the ballots.
Rationale: Voting is only conducted via an Internet voting program which returns the results. The results are printed; staff finds the members of the Election Committee who sign the results and then the results are given to the President. The anachronism provision should be removed.

NAR Call for Action on G-Fees!
 
On October 15, NAR launched a Call for Action (CFA) asking REALTORSŪ to contact their Member of Congress to oppose the use of credit guarantee fees (G-fees) charged by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to fund transportation projects.

More than 5,100 North Carolina REALTORSŪ have taken action, leaving us only 163 members away from achieving our 20% participation goal!
