The Board of Directors' recommend that the REALTOR® members remove Bylaw's Article XI, Section 4(e): Election Committee The President shall appoint an Election Committee of three (3) REALTOR® Members plus the chief staff executive to conduct the election and to count the ballots.
Rationale: Voting is only conducted via an Internet voting program which returns the results. The results are printed; staff finds the members of the Election Committee who sign the results and then the results are given to the President. This anachronistic provision should be removed.

Congratulations Code of Ethics Jeopardy Winners!
Last Wednesday, Team Realty World Cape Fear won the first ever Code of Ethics Jeopardy challenge at WRAR. The team consisted of Brendan Adkins, Jen Peterken, and Michael Stroud. Great job by all of this year's contestants!
- Special Thanks to Michael Stroud for generously donating his Jeopardy cash winnings to Bobby Jean's Kids, which is a non-profit charity benefiting and serving local foster children.

 McNeese Introduced as New
Member Services Administrator
Christy McNeese is WRAR's newest Member Services Administrator. Christy has been training since July and recently became full-time this month. She will take over all of this position's responsibilities later this year when current CE Director Lois Petelinkar retires and Tameca Jenrette becomes the new CE Director. Congratulations and Welcome Christy!

 Gainey Appointed to Cape Fear
Public Transportation Authority
2016 WRAR Director Fred Gainey was recently named as a member of the Cape Fear Public Transportation Authority by the Wilmington City Council. He will serve a term that lasts until September 2017. Fred also currently serves on the New Hanover County Adult Home Care Advisory Committee. Congratulations Fred!
