Clarification on MLS Input Field: "On Which Floor"
Your MLS Staff was recently alerted that the field "On Which Floor" had disappeared from the MLS during an "upgrade" by the vendor. The field has now been restored to the MLS and is mandatory for the Cndo Stck-Blt/Modulr property type.
The field "On Which Floor" is the unit's floor within a multi-story condo building. So if the building is raised up off the ground-such as at the beach-and the unit is on the first floor of a three-floor condo building, then the answer is "1". This field does NOT describe the number of LEVELS within the unit. Please be proactive and update your listings soon instead of waiting for a status or other change.

On October 1, 2013, Congress failed to approve a Continuing Resolution (CR) providing funding for most government operations. Therefore, spending authority for most of the government expired at midnight on Sept. 30, 2013. Until legislation providing for funding is signed into law, many offices and programs of the federal government are now shut down. This means many, but not all, government programs, including some that impact federal housing and mortgage programs, have been suspended or slowed due to the lapse in government funding. The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) requires each agency to have contingency plans in place. Read more about this issue via the link above and stay updated by NAR via videos and information here.
