CALL FOR ACTION: Tell Congress to...
Do No Harm to HousingBy now you have seen numerous news reports concerning the Fiscal Cliff. Many of these reports speculate that a change to the long-standing policy that allows homeowners to deduct mortgage interest payments from their income taxes could be part of a Fiscal Cliff deal. The REALTOR® Party position is that the mortgage interest deduction (MID) is vital to the stability of the American housing market and economy. We will remain vigilant in opposing any future plan that modifies or excludes the deductibility of mortgage interest. Please join us in reminding Congress about our position on any proposed changes to the mortgage interest deduction via the CFA linked above - Do No Harm to Housing!

On Monday, October 1, your local, state & national dues statements were emailed to you via the email address that you currently have on file with us. Credit card processing for dues will not occur until November 19th. All dues must be paid by December 31, 2012 or your membership terminates. All dues are non-refundable. If you have any specific questions regarding this, please call the WRAR office at (910) 762-7400. Thank you for your membership!
