At Heart of the Matter we talk about organizing in zones.  This can apply to your purse too.  Buy a variety of inexpensive cosmetic bags or pencil cases at the dollar store and create a zone within each one.  This allows you to quickly spot and access what you need when you need it.  Zones within your purse might include - personal care, power office, coupons/gift cards, etc.  Be as creative as you need to be!
