Tips for Scheduling Appointments More Effectively:
- To avoid waiting - try to book the first appointment in morning or the first one after lunch. You are less likely to have someone ahead of you.
- If you might have to wait, bring something with you so you can be productive, like your laptop or cellular phone.
- Avoid scheduling an appointment during peak times - eg. Over the lunch hour.
- Avoid going to the post office, restaurants or banks during the lunch hour.
- Never go to an appointment without confirming first. There is always a chance that the other party has forgotten about the appointment.
- Make appointments with yourself for exercising, spending time with your family and leisure activities
