The foundation for being organized is based in these 4 little words.....Everything Needs a Home.  As you acquire new items be sure that you assign them a home.  It is the stuff that is flying around and can never be found in the same place twice that doesn't have a home.   Be deliberate about it.   Assign it a home that is logical, easy to access and is close to its point of use.  When you need it in the future it will be easy to find!
