Happenings for Adults      

Potluck and Movie, Tuesday, June 3. Dinner at 6PM; Movie, The Book Thief, at 7PM.
Please bring a dish that serves 6-8 people. This is
the Evening Book Group's annual event.

Freegal Music -- Have you tried it? You can download and keep 5 songs a month. All you need is your North Reading library card.  

 

"Literary Elements" is the theme for the adult
summer reading program. Starting in July, we'll hold free weekly raffles. Please stop by the Circulation Desk to fill out a form. Thank you to the Friends for sponsoring the raffles.

CDs Have Moved to the second floor. This is one of several changes we'll be making to the collection over the next few months.  Thank you for your patience.

Children and Teens


Wetlands Science - Tuesday, June 10th 3:30 - 5:30.  Join Mary Hatton at the library and learn about frogs, bogs, and rotting logs. Meets in the Library Activity Room.  Weather permitting we will take a short walk to look at the wetlands in the North Reading Conservation Area.  Registration Required.  For grades 3 - 6 

Ice Cream Social - Tuesday, June 17th. 5:30 - 7:00.  Join us for our Summer Reading kick off and enjoy a sweet treat at the same time.  This year's theme is "Fizz, Boom, Read!"  Open to all ages.

Drum Away the Blues - Thursday, June 26th, 11:00.  Join us in welcoming Craig Harris for a drumming performance for the whole family.  Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Garden Grow-Ems - Tuesday, June 24th, 4:00.  Learn about plants and plant some seeds to take home and grow. Registration Required.
